Awards are finally here. They have been
announced in our gala party in our hometown of Palafrugell (Spain). With the
attendance of people from Spain, Holland, Germany and the UK we had a good time,
enjoyed of a three days open air festival of music and dance.
Sunday saw the perfomance of Kathy
Chiavola (USA) and Pep Sala (Catalonia). They did a fantastic show. The awards
were announced Saturday the 8th of July.
This is the list of the final winners
after three rounds of votings from the members and professionals of the European
Country Music Association. We wait for you next year.

Dear ECMA team,
"I am
absolutely stunned to win one, let alone three awards. I actually burst into
tears when I read the email from the ECMA today, and saw my name on Female
Vocalist of the Year. I adore Dolly Parton and Faith Hill, both are real
inspirations. So it is just bizarre that I beat them for that special award.
"All I can say is, I am so very grateful to everyone who voted for me, to
the ECMA, the radio DJs who play my records, and everyone who likes my
music. It is such an honour to be among such fantastic company as Dolly,
Faith, Gretchen Wilson and all of the other artists who were nominated. They
are all winners for being nominated. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou."

personally to have been nominated in so many categories was both a humbling
and empowering experience. To actually win this award is a tremendous honor

in music.I look forward to bringing more music to the great people of Europe
